| "Singing Together" - Ryton
Choral Society's Summer Concert 2006. This concert was a collaboration between the society, Ryton Comprehensive School and Greenside Primary School. The society gained funding through the Performing Rights Society Foundation's 'Music Creator in Residence' scheme to secure the services of composer Felicity Laurence. She worked with choir members and school students to develop her new song cycle 'The Leap of the Heart' which was given its premiere at this concert. The society was grateful to receive further financial support from Making Music, Gateshead Council and Ryton Comprehensive School. |
